• “Kegaro”, “we”, “our” and “us” mean Kegaro, a company providing AI-powered interview preparation services.
• “Services” means our website, mobile applications, interview platform, learning paths, and all related features and functionality.
• “Content” means any text, graphics, audio, video, data, or other materials appearing in our Services, including AI-generated output and feedback.
• “User Content” means any data, text, audio, video, resumes, interview recordings, prompts, or other materials that you upload, submit, or otherwise make available through our Services.
• “Paid Services” means any subscription or one-off purchase offered for a fee, including credit bundles and premium plans.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Kegaro (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including our mock interview platform, learning paths, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our Service and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kegaro.

2. Description of Service

Kegaro provides an AI-powered mock interview platform that includes:

• Interview Practice Sessions: Three formats - text-based, voice recording, and live voice interviews with AI-generated questions and real-time feedback
• AI-Powered Feedback: Google Gemini AI analysis of interview responses with performance scoring and improvement suggestions
• Structured Learning Paths: Industry-specific modules with theory, practice exercises, and assessments covering communication, technical skills, and behavioral scenarios
• Resume Analysis: ATS scoring, feedback, and improvement suggestions for resume optimization
• Cover Letter Generation: AI-powered creation tailored to specific job descriptions and company requirements
• Job Application Tracking: Application management with limits based on subscription tier (5 for free users, unlimited for premium)
• Performance Analytics: Comprehensive tracking of interview scores, learning progress, and skill development
• Referral System: Credit-based rewards for successful referrals with anti-abuse rate limiting
• Audio Transcription: Deepgram-powered speech-to-text conversion for voice interviews
• Demo System: One-time free trial for new users to experience premium features

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

3.3 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our Service.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our Service to:

• Infringe upon the rights of others

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

5.1 Premium Subscriptions

We offer premium subscription plans that provide additional features and credits. Subscription terms include:

• Free Plan: 1 resume, 2 resume analysis, 3 cover letters, 3 tracked jobs, 3 assessments, community support
• Premium Plan: $16.99/month or $169.99/year (2 months free), unlimited resumes/cover letters, AI generation, priority support
• Monthly or annual billing cycles with automatic renewal
• Cancellation required at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Price changes with 30 days notice

5.2 Credit System

Our Service uses a credit-based system for interview sessions:

• Credit Packages: Kickoff (20 credits, $14.99), Growth (50 credits, $34.99), Mastery (100 credits, $64.99), Final Round (200 credits, $119.99)
• Credits are consumed per interview session based on duration and format
• Credits can be purchased or earned through successful referrals (both referrer and referred user receive credits)
• Credits do not expire and remain available until used
• No refunds for unused credits except where required by law

5.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees and charges.

5.4 Cooling-off Waiver

By purchasing Paid Services, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the statutory right to cancel under applicable consumer protection laws. All sales are final and non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Referral Program

6.1 Referral Terms

Our referral program allows users to earn credits by referring others to our platform:

• Each successful referral earns credits for both referrer and referred user
• Referral codes are unique to each user and generated automatically
• Users cannot refer themselves or create multiple accounts
• Referral rewards are distributed upon successful account creation and verification
• We reserve the right to modify or terminate the referral program with 30 days notice

6.2 Anti-Abuse Measures

We implement comprehensive rate limiting and monitoring to prevent abuse of our referral system:

• IP-based Rate Limiting: Maximum 5 signups per IP per day, 2 per hour
• Cooldown Period: 1-hour minimum between rapid signup attempts
• Account Verification: Email verification required for all new accounts
• Fraud Detection: Automated monitoring for suspicious referral patterns

Violations may result in account suspension, referral reward forfeiture, or account termination.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create using our Service, including:

• Interview responses and recordings
• Resume and cover letter content
• Profile information and preferences
• User-generated feedback and comments

7.2 Our Content

Our Service contains proprietary content, including:

• Interview questions and scenarios
• Learning path content and assessments
• AI models and algorithms
• Platform design and functionality

This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.3 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. AI-Generated Output & Professional Advice Disclaimer

9.1 AI Output Limitations

Our Services use Google Gemini AI and other machine-learning models that may produce inaccurate or incomplete information (“hallucinations”). AI-generated feedback, interview questions, cover letters, and analysis are provided for educational purposes only.

9.2 Informational Use Only

All AI-generated output is provided “as is” for general informational and educational purposes. This includes interview feedback, resume analysis, cover letter content, learning recommendations, and performance insights. It does not constitute professional, legal, career, or other advice. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions.

9.3 User Verification Responsibility

You remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, legality, and suitability of any AI-generated output before relying on it. This includes reviewing interview feedback, validating resume analysis, fact-checking cover letter content, and confirming learning path recommendations. We recommend consulting with qualified professionals for career advice and interview preparation.

9.4 No Guarantees

Kegaro makes no guarantee that you will obtain employment, receive interview invitations, or achieve any particular outcome through the use of our Services. Interview practice and skill development require consistent effort and may not guarantee specific results.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Our Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kegaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our Service.

10.3 Cap on Direct Damages

Kegaro's total aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the greater of (i) $100 or (ii) the amount you paid for Paid Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10.4 Exclusions

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our Service.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account and associated data, though some information may be retained for legal compliance.

12. Copyright Notice & Takedown Procedure

If you believe that Content infringes your copyright, please send a notice to copyright@kegaro.com with:

• Your contact details
• Identification of the work infringed
• The URL of the alleged infringement
• A good-faith statement under penalty of perjury

We will respond promptly in accordance with applicable copyright laws and safe-harbor regimes.

13. Audio Transcription & Voice Services

13.1 Transcription Service

Voice interviews and recordings are processed through Deepgram, Inc. for speech-to-text conversion:

• Audio files are transmitted securely to Deepgram for transcription
• Original audio recordings are not retained by Kegaro after processing
• Only text transcripts are stored in your account for feedback generation
• Deepgram operates under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements

13.2 Recording Compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording laws in your jurisdiction. This includes obtaining consent from all participants in voice interviews and ensuring compliance with two-party consent requirements where applicable.

13.3 Service Availability

Voice services depend on third-party transcription providers and may be subject to availability limitations. Kegaro is not liable for transcription errors, delays, or service interruptions.

14. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, labour disputes, internet outages, malware attacks, government action, or epidemic.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kegaro, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Services
• Your User Content
• Violation of these Terms
• Recording-law violations or content you generate

We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
